Founded in 1882, UVAS is among Pakistan’s oldest public-sector institutions dedicated to veterinary sciences, animal production, biological sciences, pharmacy, food sciences, management studies, and related research fields. Faculty Expansion Covers Dozens of Academic Disciplines
The recruitment campaign includes vacancies for senior and junior faculty across several academic schools.
Professor (BPS-21) appointments have been announced for Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Main Campus, Lahore.
Associate Professor (BPS-20) positions include Epidemiology & Public Health, Wildlife & Ecology, Fisheries & Aquaculture, Biochemistry, Meat Science & Technology, Medicine (ICE&E), and Statistics.
Assistant Professor (BPS-19) recruitment is open for Statistics.
The largest number of vacancies falls under Lecturer (BPS-18). Before You Submit Your Application
Only Pakistani nationals who are not married to a foreign national are eligible under this advertisement.
Applicants who previously applied against UVAS faculty advertisements dated 21 July 2023 or 10 June 2024 are not required to submit a fresh application. However, they may update their records by submitting revised documents within the prescribed schedule. Previously deposited application fees will remain valid for such candidates.
Fresh applicants will be considered according to the age limit calculated on the closing date of the current advertisement.
Special persons are exempt from payment of the application processing fee.
The University also reserves the right to increase, reduce, postpone or withdraw any advertised position without assigning any reason.
Application Route: Follow These Steps Carefully
- Visit the official recruitment portal at https://www.uvas.edu.pk/jobs.
- Complete the online application form using accurate personal, educational and professional information.
- Review every entry carefully because no editing facility will be available after final submission.
- Generate the online Bank Alfalah challan and deposit the prescribed application fee of Rs. 5,000. Candidates falling under the special persons category are exempt from this fee.
- Print the completed online application after successful submission.
- Prepare four complete sets of documents for Professor and Associate Professor applications, or three complete sets for Assistant Professor and Lecturer applications.
- Attach educational certificates, experience documents, CNIC, domicile, research publications (where applicable), passport-size photographs and the original paid bank challan.
- Send the complete application package to the Registrar, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore through post or courier before 05 August 2026.
- Ensure that the online application reaches the University portal no later than 31 July 2026.
